The Wonderful Precure! takes place in Animal Town, a community where humans and animals live together peacefully. Iroha Inukai, a second-year junior high student, shares a close bond with her dog Komugi. During a routine walk, they encounter a strange being called Garugaru that begins causing chaos in the town. In a surprising turn, Komugi becomes a Pretty Cure known as Cure Wonderful to defend Iroha against the danger. The series focuses on their relationship and the sudden emergence of this protective transformation amid the disruption in their tranquil town.
