Synopsis

Manatsu Natsumi, a stylish teenager, relocates to the metropolis and is immediately taken with its sights. Her ordinary arrival becomes extraordinary when she comes across Laura, a mermaid in search of the Precure—luminous warriors believed to be capable of saving Grand Ocean, Laura’s homeland. Manatsu’s resolve triggers her transformation into one of those protectors, adopting the identity of Cure Summer. As allies join her cause, Manatsu balances a suddenly hectic life while confronting ocean-linked foes that threaten human vitality. Each confrontation grows more demanding, prompting the group to confront their priorities and determine what matters most to them.
