Five summers earlier, two girls encountered a strange tree and witnessed two luminous orbs. Now reunited, Saki Hyuuga, the softball team's star pitcher, and Mai Mishou, an artist who favors drawing to stargazing, are selected by anthropomorphic spirits—one tied to flowers named Flappy and another linked to birds called Choppy. Tasked with repairing the Seven Fountains, they must work together to prevent the encroaching threat known as Dark Autumn and protect both their worlds as the new Pretty Cure.
