Synopsis

Long ago, a sealed container called the Axia unleashed members of the Phantom Empire into the world. In response, fighters called the Precure arise to confront the malevolent forces threatening people everywhere, becoming widely recognized figures on television. Hime Shirayuki, a princess from the kingdom where the Axia was kept, transforms into Cure Princess to oppose the Empire's summoned monsters, but her shy nature often limits her effectiveness in battle. Seeking a reliable ally, Hime befriends Megumi Aino, an upbeat teenage girl. When a Phantom Empire general attacks, Hime struggles to defend against him, and Megumi, determined to protect Hime, reveals her own latent power and becomes Cure Lovely. United by their intent to safeguard the world, Megumi and Hime establish the team called Happiness Charge Precure and set out together on a quest that involves protecting others and exploring the meaning of true love.
