Amid attempts to live ordinary student lives, the vibrant and conflicting personalities on campus bring personal doubts and cultural quirks to the surface. Ryou Fujibayashi struggles with constant self-consciousness and envy toward other girls. Yukito Kunisaki feels perpetually misplaced and overlooked, drifting without steady work or money. Ayu Tsukimiya repeatedly finds herself in awkward, poorly timed situations, often colliding with her environment as she goes. The school’s daily rhythm blends introspective moments about identity and belonging with overtly self-aware humor and playful fourth-wall ruptures.
