Kaginado Academy stands against expectation, and Yuri Nakamura gathers classmates determined to confront the deity said to have shaped their reality. Highlighting the oddities of their setting, Yuri suggests the school may function as a surrogate for the afterlife. Her hypothesis unsettles many students; some start to doubt their recollections and question the origins of their lives. Others insist their present circumstances arise from their own histories rather than divine meddling.
