Synopsis

Set in a future where nuclear and biological conflicts have ravaged much of the world, this adaptation merges the original visual novel's plot with material from the light-novel sequel. A young scavenger, known as a 'Junker,' explores a sealed, abandoned urban area and discovers a service robot dutifully waiting for visitors inside a department store's rooftop planetarium. Despite his practical, survival-focused mindset, he decides to assist the robot in restoring the planetarium's projector. That choice initiates events that reshape the futures of both the scavenger and the robot, preserving the story's contemplative tone and emotional resonance without revealing later developments.
