Synopsis
In an alternate Edo where swords are banned and extraterrestrial rulers dominate, Gintoki, Shinpachi, and Kagura continue as the cash-strapped Yorozuya, taking on any task to get by while enduring everyday frustrations like unpaid wages. One night, after Gintoki returns home drunk, a crashing alien vessel delivers a mortally wounded passenger who entrusts him with a mysterious clock-like artifact, urging its protection. Gintoki mistakes it for a simple alarm, breaks it the following day, and finds the outside world frozen. Joined by Shinpachi and Kagura, he embarks on a mission to repair the device, but their usual comedic chaos and unforeseen threats complicate the effort. This season blends irreverent humor with sincere moments as the trio navigates both absurd misadventures and serious dangers.
