Synopsis

In Yoshiwara, a banned incense known as Aizen Kou resurfaces and emits a smoke that makes anyone who breathes it fall in love with the first person they see. The drug’s reappearance engulfs the red-light district, altering the emotions of its residents and visitors. Among those ensnared is Tsukuyo, the stern Hyakka captain, who, upon inhaling the incense, looks upon Gintoki Sakata—the bold leader of the Yorozuya—and finds her already present attraction amplified. Facing intensified feelings and the widespread influence of the incense, Tsukuyo must confront her own turmoil and collaborate with Gintoki and the Yorozuya to undo the incense’s effects and restore the district’s people to their normal selves.
