Synopsis
An original video animation adapting the Hoshi no Umi arc (manga chapters 26–34). The story centers on Rin Azuma, a Jiang‑Shi yokai who has relocated to Sakurashin and is adjusting to urban life while employed at a ramen shop. Her past resurfaces when Zakuro Kurumaki, a former friend, arrives in Sakurashin with the intent to seize Rin and persuade her to join a campaign to destroy the city alongside other yokai hunters and the series’ principal antagonist, Enjin Hiizumi. In response, Akina Hiizumi and the staff of the Hiizumi Life Counseling Office intervene to rescue Rin, subdue the yokai influencing Zakuro, and defend the city.
