Synopsis

A unique setting features two distinct realms: one inhabited by humans and another by youkai. Youkai, despite their often human-like appearance, possess animalistic physical characteristics and various supernatural powers. While typically confined to their own dimension, some youkai have crossed into the human domain. To foster harmony and serve as a connection point between these realms, the city of Sakurashin was established. It stands within a protective barrier formed by seven mystical trees, known as the Seven Pillars. Sakurashin provides a home for both human and youkai residents, with the Hizumi Life Counseling Office dedicated to upholding their peaceful coexistence. Akina Hiizumi, the office director, is a young individual endowed with an inherited family power called 'tuning,' which allows him to permanently return dangerous youkai to their native world. He receives assistance from a group of young women, including Hime Yarizakura, the city's 16-year-old youkai mayor; Ao Nanami, the town's telepathic announcer; and Kotoha Isone, a half-youkai capable of materializing objects simply by speaking their names. As new inhabitants arrive and unexplained occurrences begin, this protective quartet, alongside their closest allies, must continue their vigilance over Sakurashin to preserve the fragile equilibrium between humans and youkai.
