Synopsis

Shigeo "Mob" Kageyama is progressing into a more mature understanding of his identity as a psychic whose abilities can profoundly influence others' lives. Alongside his adviser Reigen Arataka, he continues to accept paranormal assignments—clearing malevolent spirits and addressing urban legends that trouble the populace. Although their routine of responding to clients remains, Mob no longer passively shadows Reigen; his accumulated experiences as an exceptionally powerful esper give greater significance to each case. The tone shifts toward seriousness and unease as the pair encounter threats that are increasingly concrete and disturbing, altering the atmosphere of their supernatural investigations.
