Synopsis

At Kaminoyama High School, five close friends—Aoi Miyamori, Ema Yasuhara, Midori Imai, Shizuka Sakaki, and Misa Toudou—bonded over their passion for anime and created an amateur film for the culture festival, then pledged to build careers in animation and someday collaborate on a mainstream series. Two and a half years later, Aoi and Ema have secured positions at the respected Musashino Animation studio, while the others encounter obstacles: Shizuka struggles to gain recognition as a voice actress, Misa works a stable but unfulfilling job designing 3D car models, and Midori studies at university as she pursues writing. The group discovers that professional success rarely follows a straight line; through persistence and unconventional approaches, they continue to chase their shared ambition without abandoning the bonds that started it all.
