Synopsis

This OVA collection adapts the introductory narratives of two distinct fictional animated series, originally depicted within the Shirobako television anime as productions by Musashino Animation. The first story, "Exodus!: Shutsu Tokyo," follows Tracy, a fledgling idol trio comprising Akane, Aya, and Alpine, who struggle to gain recognition. After a poorly attended performance, their leader Akane confronts their manager, Taguchi, regarding his lack of engagement. However, their encounter takes a dark turn when they discover Taguchi deceased, making them primary suspects in his murder. Paradoxically, this incident propels them into the widespread fame they had long sought. The second narrative, "Daisan Hikou Shoujotai: FALLING ANGEL," centers on the 307 Aerial Squad, known as "Hell Alice." This unit is part of a global military effort resisting the enigmatic Builders, an entity responsible for covering a third of the Earth with mysterious structures called Pillars. These Pillars render all modern aircraft inoperable, forcing Hell Alice to pilot older equipment against the Builders' advanced technology. Among their ranks is Aria Hitotose, a skilled Japanese school-aged pilot nicknamed "Ice Doll" for her unwavering resolve in critical situations. When a mission to extract survivors from a devastated base encounters unforeseen complications, Aria and her dependable comrades must intervene to resolve the crisis.
