Synopsis

Mushi are peculiar lifeforms that some people fear and misunderstand; although not malicious, their presence can cause unintended harm when humans interact with them without comprehension. Mushishi Zoku Shou follows Ginko, a wandering Mushishi, as he continues to travel and address situations where people are affected by Mushi—whether afflicted by harmful conditions or living in delicate balance with them. Through encounters with individuals who possess unusual connections to Mushi, Ginko confronts ethical dilemmas about human responsibility and the consequences of interference. He seeks deeper knowledge of these beings while weighing his role in altering the fragile relationships that exist between Mushi and humanity.
