Synopsis

After Mash Burnedead's confrontation with Magia Lupus exposes the truth about his abilities, celebration is cut short when the Bureau of Magic brings him before the Divine Visionaries, who rule he must face death for his powers. The inquiry is interrupted by Innocent Zero, a sinister organization that seizes control and insists Mash be spared. Mash demonstrates he can handle the threat posed by Innocent Zero, yet the Divine Visionaries uphold their sentence. Unexpected support arrives from Divine Visionary Rayne Ames and Headmaster Wahlberg Baigan, who succeed in postponing the execution until the threat of Innocent Zero is eliminated. Mash is granted conditional survival: he must be chosen as the Divine Visionary candidate before the end of the year.
