Synopsis

In a society where visible facial marks reveal magical talent and those without magic are eliminated, a boy named Mash Burnedead lives apart from civilization with his father. Despite possessing extraordinary physical strength, Mash lacks any magical ability. His isolated routine—training with one arm while casually holding a pastry with the other—is upended when authorities learn he cannot use magic. Faced with a grim choice, he must either vie for the title of Divine Visionary to secure acceptance or endure perpetual persecution. To shield his family, Mash enrolls at the elite Easton Magic Academy, a school reserved for the most accomplished magic users. There, deprived of magical power, he is forced to confront his limitations and strive to outmatch magically gifted peers using only his physical prowess.
