Synopsis

Kujo Jotaro appears to live an ordinary, admired life as a Japanese high-school student until he becomes convinced a spirit has taken hold and isolates himself. An encounter with his grandfather, Joseph Joestar, and a clash with Joseph’s comrade Muhammad Abdul reveal that the presence is actually Star Platinum: Jotaro’s Stand, a manifested combat force. When Jotaro’s mother develops a mysterious illness linked to a newly awakened Stand, they learn the cause is the return of the vampire Dio Brando, resurrected a century after his defeat by Jonathan Joestar, Jotaro’s ancestor. To protect his family and put an end to Dio’s threat, Jotaro teams up with Joseph and Abdul and sets out for Egypt to confront Dio directly.
