Synopsis

Two years after the Tendoshuu assaulted O-Edo Central Terminal, the Yorozuya have dispersed. Anticipating Utsuro’s possible return, Gintoki Sakata investigates Earth’s ley lines seeking remnants of Utsuro’s Altana. After encountering the Tendoshuu survivors—still driven to pursue immortality—Gintoki makes his way back to Edo. The Shinsengumi and Yorozuya regroup to mount an assault on the occupied Central Terminal. With Altana drawn into the wreckage of the Tendoshuu vessel and posing a catastrophic risk, the Yorozuya and their allies engage in combat to prevent disaster and protect Edo and the wider world. Honoring their teacher Shouyou Yoshida’s wishes, his former students come together and confront memories of their past as they strive to secure their futures.
