Synopsis
After a series of grim clashes in Iga, Kokujou Island, Rakuyou, and confrontations with the Tenshouin Naraku and Tendoshuu, the story shifts focus to lighter times for the Yorozuya. In Gintama: Porori-hen, the trio resume their customary odd jobs while dealing with personal and comedic dilemmas. The feared space hunter Umibouzu comes back to Edo and reacts angrily upon learning that his daughter, Kagura, is in a relationship, blaming Gintoki for failing as a guardian and prompting questions about whether he can accept her independence. The season returns to unabashed parodies, risqué humor, and strong camaraderie as Gintoki, Kagura, and Shinpachi encounter unexpected situations that blend broad comedy with touching emotional beats.
