Synopsis

After surviving turbulent conflicts, mercenary sergeant Sousuke Sagara of Mithril and the "Whispered" schoolgirl Kaname Chidori attempt to resume ordinary high school routines. Sousuke balances blending into civilian life with continuing covert duties, while Kaname supports him despite being exasperated by his behavior. Just as their daily existence steadies, fresh dangers arise: an autonomous terrorist group called Amalgam, factional disputes within Mithril, and the emergence of stronger Arm Slave units undermine stability and threaten broader peace. Confronted with external assaults and internal turmoil, Sousuke and Kaname must contend with personal struggles amid life-or-death confrontations and make crucial decisions that will shape their future.
