Synopsis

On a planned day of rest, Tessa regains consciousness in the ship's command chair rather than her bunk. Disoriented, she realizes her treasured stuffed companion is gone and seeks to piece together the prior evening. To reconstruct what happened, she spends time with each key member of the Danaan crew, gradually reconstructing the sequence of events from the night before while reflecting on small, personal moments with her shipmates.
