Synopsis

After a brief period of calm in Ikebukuro, unusual incidents remain part of daily life. The police continue to close in on Celty Sturluson, a headless rider, while a sizable reward placed on her head mobilizes gang members across the city to track her. At the same time, Mikado Ryuugamine encounters Aoba Kuronuma, an enigmatic underclassman who unexpectedly claims knowledge of Mikado’s true identity. Calm proves fragile when a fresh menace emerges: a murderer calling themselves "Hollywood," notable for committing offenses while wearing a different mask each time. As separate developments reveal links to one another, tensions mount and Ikebukuro faces the risk of being pulled back into widespread disorder.
