Synopsis

One evening Mikado Ryuugamine goes to Shinra Kishitani's place hoping to speak with Celty after a long interval apart. Instead of a private meeting he encounters a sizeable circle of Ikebukuro residents assembled for a hot pot gathering. Perplexed by the turn of events, he is further taken aback to see Anri Sonohara, a fellow student from Raira Academy, among the guests. As Mikado and Anri sit together, several attendees share stories from earlier times: Mikado remembers a childhood escapade with Masaomi Kida, Anri recounts how she became close to Mika Harima, and Shizuo Heiwajima relates how he first met Tom Tanaka. The scene combines surprise, quiet reflection, and the warmth of renewed connections without revealing future developments.
