During winter break at Reien Girls' Academy, apprentice mage Azaka Kokutou is dispatched by her mentor to probe a string of unusual incidents. The disturbances trace back to another sorcerer who has been removing students' memories through the use of fairies that Azaka, despite her skills, cannot perceive. To address this blind spot, Shiki Ryougi—an acquaintance equipped with unique vision that reveals what Azaka cannot—arrives to assist. Tension arises between them because Azaka regards Shiki as a romantic rival, complicating their collaboration.
