Synopsis

Minoru Kagenou spent his life pursuing peak physical strength while hiding his true abilities behind a façade of normalcy. By day he pretended to be an average student; by night he took to the streets with a crowbar to brutally confront local biker gangs. After a fatal truck accident, he expects his long quest for power to end, lamenting that human limits will always constrain him. Instead he awakens in another world as Cid, the second son of the noble Kagenou line, in a society where magic is an everyday force. Granted the capabilities he had sought, he adopts the identity Shadow and founds Shadow Garden, an organization dedicated to destroying the Cult of Diablos—a threat he originally conceived himself. As Shadow Garden expands in numbers and authority, unsettling evidence emerges that the Cult of Diablos may be more than the product of Cid's imagination, forcing him to confront a danger that could be very real.
