Synopsis

Kenichi Kokuho was lost as a young child and secretly raised in the wilderness by a foster father. At fifteen, he learns the truth of his origins and travels to the town where his birth family lives. Reunited with his relatives, Kenichi’s presence evokes relief and surprise: his family is overjoyed to find him alive but unsettled by his untamed behavior and physical resilience. Entering a civilized environment, he encounters constant astonishment at everyday customs and faces social friction as his blunt methods and rugged habits clash with local expectations. The story follows his attempt to navigate this new life, showing how his unconventional approach to problems and survival-shaped outlook create misunderstanding and challenges as he seeks to find a place within the town.
