Synopsis

Anya, who can hear others' thoughts, is the only member of her adopted household aware of everyone's concealed roles: her guardian Loid is a top-tier intelligence agent known as Twilight; her adoptive mother Yor leads a double life as the assassin Thorn Princess; and the family dog Bond can foresee future events. Each hides their true nature from the others, but their staged domestic life gives Anya the genuine affection and security she lacked as an orphan. Loid's assignment, Operation Strix, aims to avert a looming conflict by infiltrating the circle of a powerful political figure, Donovan Desmond. Success hinges on Anya's behavior at a prestigious academy—either by achieving academic excellence to become an Imperial Scholar or by cultivating a friendship with Donovan's son, Damian. Though both options are challenging, Anya approaches her role with enthusiasm and determination, embracing the risks and everyday trials of life as a member of the Forger family in service of peace.
