Synopsis

Anya Forger has been accepted into the prestigious Eden Academy, progressing Operation Strix into its next stage. To gather intelligence on Ostanian politician Donovan Desmond, Anya must either form a friendship with his son Damian or earn eight Stella Stars to be named an Imperial Scholar; she already holds her first star. To celebrate, her adoptive father Loid agrees to fulfill her desire to adopt a dog. While they search for a pet, Loid is assigned a mission: his superiors have discovered that a group of Berlint University students plans to assassinate Westalis' Minister Brantz by equipping dogs with explosives. As Loid moves to thwart the conspiracy, Anya discovers the students' hideout and meets a compassionate, clairvoyant dog who later becomes part of the Forger household as Bond. Though each family member maintains separate covert roles, the Forgers stay connected and face the unusual challenges that arise together, now with a new canine companion.
