Synopsis

Kraft Lawrence, a traveling merchant, continues northward accompanied by Holo, a wolf goddess longing for her lost home of Yoitsu. As they travel, the pair secure modest earnings and gradually gather clues about Yoitsu. Their path is disrupted by obstacles: a charismatic young merchant takes an interest in Holo, prompting Lawrence to fear losing her; precarious trade deals and risky ventures test Lawrence’s skills and ambitions as he works toward owning a shop; and the pressures of the journey force both to reassess their partnership. Throughout their travels, Lawrence’s resolve and his relationship with Holo are repeatedly challenged as they weigh whether to stay together or part ways.
