Synopsis

Holo, once worshiped as a wolf deity who ensured bountiful harvests in the village of Pasloe, has been relegated over time to little more than a local legend as the townspeople grow more self-reliant. When traveling merchant Kraft Lawrence arrives in Pasloe, Holo proposes accompanying him as his business partner in exchange for passage back to her northern homeland, Yoitsu. Lawrence, impressed by Holo’s keen insight into people, agrees. Combining his commercial acumen with Holo’s persuasive presence, they travel the countryside seeking trade opportunities. As Lawrence moves closer to his aim of establishing his own shop, the journey and partnership begin to alter the shape of his ambitions in ways he did not foresee, blending practical goals with the deeper, evolving bond between them.
