Synopsis

In Ogikubo, a diverse district where humans and extraterrestrials coexist and the only Space Immigration Zone on Earth is located, Luluco is an upbeat middle school student who seeks a quiet, ordinary life. Her routine is disrupted when her father, employed by the Space Patrol, accidentally ingests an unstable sleeping capsule and becomes immobilized. After Luluco inadvertently damages him while attempting to help, she rushes to his workplace for assistance. There, Over Justice, the head of the Space Patrol, assigns her to a temporary undercover role to support their efforts to curb wrongdoing at her school. Fitted with the Space Patrol uniform, whose automated functions and intense commitment to enforcement are intrinsic to its design, Luluco must balance the demands of the suit with her desire to blend in and appear unremarkable. As she carries out undercover tasks, she confronts the tension between conforming to a normal student life and the suit’s uncompromising approach to justice.
