Synopsis

In this prequel film to the Slayers TV saga, Lina Inverse and her rival-turned-traveling ally Naga the Serpent arrive at Mipross Island intending a restful detour at the hot springs. Their respite is interrupted when they become involved in a dangerous scheme centered on a mazoku named Joyrock, who years earlier annihilated the island's elf population and absorbed their abilities. An elderly mage, Rowdy Gabriev, who once loved one of the slain elves, joins them, driven by his desire to confront and overcome Joyrock. The story follows their uneasy partnership as they face the island's dark past and the powerful foe at its heart.
