After losing the Sword of Light, Lina and Gourry resume their quest to find a suitable replacement. During their travels they arrive in the kingdom of Luvinagard, where they cross paths with Amelia and Zelgadis amid a confrontation with pirates. While Lina welcomes the reunion with familiar companions, their presence draws the attention of Luvinagard’s Special Investigative Unit inspector, Wizer, whose unexpected conduct catches Lina off guard.
