Synopsis

Lina and Gourry arrive in the coastal settlement of Acassi, noted for its octopus-based cuisine. Locals consume the tentacles unaware that the flesh bears an enchantment: those affected lose human speech and can only vocalize Takogo, the octopus tongue. Amelia, Zelgadiss, and Xelloss appear, and the curse befalls Lina, Gourry, Amelia, and Zelgadiss. The octopi escalate the threat by summoning the aid of a mazoku to drive humans away. To reverse the affliction and protect the community, the white sorceress Ruma seeks out instruction from her estranged master to learn the method needed to lift the curse.
