Synopsis

A thousand years after the demon lord Rchimedes was sealed by the famed hero Creasion, the world has enjoyed peace—until a breach appears between the demon and human realms and demons flood back into the human lands. Fearing Rchimedes’ imminent return, the human king summons all potential heirs of Creasion, assembling seventy-five candidates because the true lineage cannot be precisely determined after so long. Among those gathered is Alba Frühling, an inexperienced adventurer whose abilities are limited but whose determination places him among the hopefuls. He is paired with Ross, a capable soldier whose battlefield talent is matched by a biting sarcasm and a streak of sadism that leads him to take a certain perverse pleasure in Alba’s misfortunes. The story follows this mismatched pair as they set out to confront demonic threats and the looming danger of Rchimedes’ revival, encountering a parade of eccentric characters and comic situations during their quest.
