Synopsis

Three years after a protracted conflict between the Royal Empire and the Republic of Frost ended, both countries struggle to rebuild. Alice L. Malvin, driven and compassionate, commands the Pumpkin Scissors, an imperial team tasked with postwar relief and restoring order. While aiding a village held by rogue troops, she encounters Randal Oland, a scarred veteran carrying a dark past but showing a compassionate side. His response to the Pumpkin Scissors’ efforts leads him to join their ranks. During the engagement, Randal becomes entranced by an enigmatic blue lantern and manifestly gains terrifying physical power, turning the tide against the occupiers. Although unsettled by what she witnessed, Alice accepts Randal into her squad, believing his kind disposition will guide him as they continue their humanitarian and stabilization work.
