Synopsis
Madoka Kaname and Sayaka Miki lead everyday lives as middle school students until a strange, catlike being named Kyuubey and a transfer student, Homura Akemi, enter their world. Kyuubey presents them with a pact: in exchange for granting a single heartfelt wish, he will transform each into a magical girl endowed with the power to pursue their desires. Homura, who already bears the mantle of a magical girl, cautions them against accepting this bargain, insisting that the situation conceals unsettling truths.
