Synopsis

After sacrificing himself to rescue a striking young woman, Hiro finds himself returned not to life but to a state between life and death, serving as a revenant in her personal guard. His charge is Hime, the daughter of the Monster King, who faces attacks from her own siblings as they unleash supernatural forces to advance their claims. Hiro must confront conventional threats like vampires and the undead alongside unexpectedly strange adversaries—were-sharks, aggressive pandas, and perilous animated food among them. The setting blends dark humor with macabre danger as Hiro navigates a grim afterlife while defending a heroine who, despite her monstrous lineage and the hellish circumstances, remains largely sympathetic.
