Synopsis

Satoshi travels to Melemele Island in the Alola region with Pikachu after his mother wins a trip. The island offers unfamiliar Pokémon and regional variants, and while exploring they become separated chasing a Pokémon and find the local Pokémon School. A clash with Team Skull at the school reveals Z-Moves—region-specific powerful techniques that require strong trainer–Pokémon synchronization. That night they encounter Melemele’s guardian deity, Kapu Kokeko, which grants them a Z-Ring needed to perform Z-Moves. Impressed by the new power and determined to learn it, Satoshi and Pikachu decide to remain in Alola and enroll at the Pokémon School. There they meet classmates including Lillie, who adores Pokémon but struggles to touch them, and the serious Kaki. Their days blend lessons, confrontations with the persistent Team Rocket, and preparations for the Island Challenge, all of which shape their efforts to master the Z-Moves and adapt to life in the Alola region.
