Synopsis

A concealed midnight period known as the Dark Hour brings dangerous, otherworldly beings called Shadows that most people do not experience. Those unfortunate enough to remain conscious outside protective coffins during this time face these threats unless they can wield Persona, an innate ability some individuals can manifest to combat Shadows. A clandestine team formed by these Persona users, called SEES (Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad), works to determine why the Dark Hour occurs and to stop the menace it creates. Shortly after transfer student Makoto Yuuki moves into Iwatodai Dorm, a powerful Shadow attack triggers the emergence of his Persona. Recruited into SEES, he joins his fellow members in battling Shadows, with their collective efforts focused on safeguarding people and uncovering the cause of the Dark Hour.
