Synopsis

An urban legend spreads through Tokyo asserting that messages posted to the Ask-a-Thief Channel summon the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, who exact moral reckoning by stealing the hearts of corrupt individuals and forcing them to face their misdeeds. As uncanny incidents multiply across the city, an increasing number of citizens turn to the channel hoping the clandestine group will intervene. Kazuya Makigami leads a double life as a night-time burglar but has begun to question both his actions and the companions who enable them. Lacking the courage to confront his allies directly, Kazuya turns to the Ask-a-Thief Channel and files a plea for the Phantom Thieves’ involvement.
