Synopsis

After Shinichi Chiaki finally defeats his fear of flying, Megumi “Nodame” Noda attracts attention with a standout piano showing that leads to an offer from the Conservatoire de Paris. They travel to Paris together to advance their musical paths: Chiaki begins a promising conducting career under maestro Franz von Stresemann, while Nodame studies piano with the respected professor Charles Auclair. In a broader, more competitive musical environment, the two confront challenges alongside longtime friends and fresh rivals. The story follows their efforts and determination to attain high artistic goals while preserving what matters most to them emotionally and personally.
