Synopsis
A group led by violinist Kiyora Miki travels to Vienna with Shinichi Chiaki, Megumi "Nodame" Noda, and two companions to meet renowned conductor Franz von Stresemann. Upon arrival at his residence they learn the conductor has already departed for Japan. Rather than waste the journey, they explore Vienna’s key musical sites and reflect on their careers and relationships. Kiyora reveals she has not seen her boyfriend Ryuutarou Mine for a year while she prepares for an international competition in Paris. Chiaki and Nodame pledge to attend the contest’s final round. After they return to Paris, their plans are disrupted by the arrival of an unforeseen visitor, setting new developments in motion.
