Aoba Suzukaze marks one year at the Eagle Jump studio, where she and her unconventional colleagues in character design completed their latest title, Fairies Story 3. As the team moves into a new project, they hold a contest to determine its character concepts; Aoba earns the top spot and steps into the role of lead character designer with guidance from former designer Kou Yagami. Her promotion brings increased workload, longer days, and uncertainty about her suitability for the position. Supported by friends and coworkers, Aoba confronts her lack of experience and commits to meeting the challenges involved in producing Eagle Jump’s next charming game, Peco.
