Synopsis

Aoba Suzukaze has admired the Fairies Story titles since childhood, especially their character art. After finishing high school she joins Eagle Jump, the studio behind that series, and is assigned to the team producing the next entry, Fairies Story 3, under lead character artist Kou Yagami. Her coworkers include a monster designer named Yun Iijima; Hifumi Takimoto, who is reserved and prefers messaging to face-to-face conversation; animator Hajime Shinoda, noted for his large collection of figurines; Rin Tooyama, the precise art director; Shizuku Hazuki, the game director who brings her cat to the office; and Umiko Ahagon, the hot-tempered chief programmer. The series follows Aoba and her colleagues as they face the creative challenges and technical issues that arise during game production, portraying both the rewarding moments of design work and the setbacks involved in polishing a title.
