Synopsis

In Universal Century 0068, the assassination of Casval Rem Deikun's father—an influential advocate for the rights of those living off Earth—shatters his family life. Loyal soldiers to the deceased leader intervene, evacuating Casval and his sister Artesia; their escape leads to separation and a sequence of events that compel both siblings to mature quickly and assume military roles. Over time, Casval confronts a hardening of his late father's ideals into a more aggressive, militarized doctrine and wrestles with his own drive for revenge. As interstellar conflict escalates, these pressures shape Casval into a formidable mobile suit pilot, setting the stage for the emergence of the persona later known by another name and reputation.
