Synopsis

Kanon Shibuya is a gifted musician who loses her nerve on stage and fails to enter Yuigaoka Girls' High School's specialized music program, placing instead in the general course. She resolves to leave music behind, but Tang Keke, a classmate with an infectious enthusiasm for school idols, revives Kanon's love for performing. The two try to create a school idol unit, which draws opposition from Ren Hazuki, the headmaster's daughter. After appealing to the director, they are permitted to establish an official school idol club on one stipulation: they must secure first place at the Yoyogi School Idol Festival. As they pursue that goal, the group confronts setbacks, tests of determination, and interpersonal challenges. Along the way, the members form friendships and recruit additional students, growing into a cohesive ensemble striving to become the radiant idols they aspire to be.
