Synopsis

Chika Takami considers herself ordinary and has never belonged to any clubs or shown notable skills. After encountering a performance in Tokyo, she becomes captivated by the concept of school idols and resolves to establish a new idol club at Uranohoshi Girl's High School in her seaside hometown, inspired by the legacy of the renowned group μ's. Before she even recruits members, Chika faces resistance from Dia Kurosawa, the student council president, who opposes creating the club. Soon after, a transfer student named Riko Sakurauchi arrives from Otonokizaka High School, the same school μ's originated from. Riko is reserved but skilled at the piano, and Chika sees potential in her as a member of the nascent club. Despite the difficulty of persuading others and her own lack of experience, Chika persists, confronting various obstacles as she strives to assemble a school idol unit that can match the brightness of the nine who preceded them.
