Synopsis

Following the third-year students' graduation, μ's receives an invitation to perform in New York as part of efforts to introduce school idols abroad. Their recent success at Love Live! has propelled them into widespread recognition, drawing large crowds whenever they appear. That popularity brings increased external expectations and the need to make a consequential choice about their future. Without a public announcement about their decision, the members face pressure to keep performing from rivals like A-RISE, peers at Otonokizaka High School, and the Love Live! event itself. As leader, Honoka Kousaka grapples with whether the direction they've chosen is right, prompting μ's to reevaluate their plans and reach a definitive conclusion about what they want moving forward. The film presents the concluding chapter of μ's, focusing on their exploration of what being idols truly means and the bond that holds the nine members together.
